Born and raised in Vancouver, Kayla has dreamt of becoming a hairstylist ever since she was 4 years old. Growing up, she has always loved doing her own makeup and hair and trying to be creative with different looks. Kayla graduated from the Professional Hairstyling Program at Blanche Macdonald Centre in May 2021 and she is currently most passionate about hair colour, braiding and styling. She joined the Kokopelli Team shortly after graduating as an associate to learn more about the hair industry, innovative techniques, and to work towards perfecting her craft to become a well-rounded stylist. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the piano and ukulele, painting and playing video games.
