What inspires?

Wood is a huge inspiration for me when designing color placements in hair. By using a combination of diagonal and vertical sectioning techniques and incorporating a tone on tone effect with the clients natural base tone, I find it's possible to achieve a softer, multi chromatic effect in the hair. This allows for a more wearable, softer feel to the hair, which has more longevity and grows out more gracefully for the client. Seasonally, I am able to adjust the dimensional work to reflect the level of brightness the client wishes to achieve, while maintaining the consistency of the base tone. Color is relative to what you compare it to , by altering the ratio of highlights to lowlights, we can create the illusion that an overall change has been created, without damaging the hair from over processing, or radically altering the base shade. It's all about proportioning the light reflection within the shape of the cut.
